Mustard Seed on NCDEX settled down by -0.65% at 3793 on expectation of higher supply. President of MOPA said mustard that carry over stock as of Feb 1 is pegged at 400,000 ton. The upcoming mustard crop is in very good condition so the production of mustard this year is likely to be in the range of 6.5-7 million tons. With the expectation of good crop in 2016/17, the new season supplies will be at higher size in the country. In addition to that the carryover stocks from last year might be higher as country imported record mustard oil and exported multiyear low mustard meal. However, the prices will get some support from the increase in minimum support price (MSP) of Rapeseed & Mustard to Rs. 3,700 per quintal for 2016/17 from Rs. 3,350 per quintal last year.

Prices of benchmark whole milk powder rose by 1.0%, the first rise in prices seen so far this year. Last week, global Milk giant Fonterra announced it has increased it average payout to its Australian farmers.

According to the figures of Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar , Myanmar exported over 1.2 million tons of rice in nearly 10 months of the current fiscal year 2016-17 as of January, earning 376 million U.S. dollars, Of the rice export, 68 %or 800,000 tons were done through border trade, while over 400,000 tons were sold through normal trade.

About 80 % of the country's rice export went to China mostly through border trade. Other exporting countries and regions are Indonesia, Singapore, European Union, Africa, Russia and Brazil.

Meanwhile, Pakistan and the Philippines have proposed to Myanmar to purchase the country's rice under government-to-government system, while negotiations are underway to boost rice export to Sri Lanka and Indonesia.The country exported 767,753 tons of rice in the last fiscal year 2015-2016.

At the MCX, gold futures for April 2017 contract is trading at Rs 29,295 per 10 grams, down by 0.13 per cent, after opening at Rs 29311, against a previous close of Rs 29332. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 29241.

While Gold has gained impressively on this factor this week, a rather tepid show by Indian retail demand weighs on the broad sentiments. The metal is currently being offered around $1233 per ounce, almost unchanged on the day. MCX Gold futures are trading at Rs 29260 per 10 grams, up 0.23% on the day after testing highs above Rs 29330 levels.

The global pepper market showed a mixed response during the last week. In India, the price decreased since harvest in Kerala and Karnataka is on full swing. Compared to last week, an average of around 3% decrease was recorded in Kochi. In Indonesia, the price of black pepper in Lampung and white pepper in Bangka were reported stable.

Lead futures were trading higher during morning trade in the domestic market on Monday as investors and speculators build up fresh bets in the industrial metal amid increase in physical demand for lead, from battery-makers, in the domestic spot market. 

Further, an upward trend in physical demand from battery-makers in the domestic spot market, supported prices of lead at futures trade. 

At the MCX, lead futures for February 2017 contract is trading at Rs 156.55 per kg, up by 0.13 per cent, after opening at Rs 156.20, against a previous close of Rs 156.35. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 156.90.

Asserting that the steel sector has started "stabilising", Steel Minister Chaudhary Birendra Singh said the industry must gear up to face global competition as protectionist measures like minimum import price (MIP) and anti-dumping can not continue indefinitely, reported PTI. 

"At least now I am of the view that steel industry as such is stabilising and if everything is stabilised then we may think which are the components which should again be put in MIP (list)," Singh told PTI in an interview. He further said that steps taken by the government like MIP and anti-dumping duty on certain products have helped improve the condition of the steel sector which has suffered on account of glut in the global market. 

"All put together now (steel) import has come down to 34% and our (steel) export is now 58 % higher as compared to last year (fiscal)," he said. The government, he said, has already indicated to the industry that protectionist measures like MIP and anti dumping cannot be provided indefinitely. "But, on the other hand, we have also suggested the steel industry that this kind of continuance will not go on indefinitely," he said.  www.ripplesadvisory.com  Click Here.

Giving relief to domestic steel producers against cheap in-bound shipments, for the first time, MIP was imposed in February last year on 173 items. Later, the number of products were reduced. "When we started with this (MIP) it was 173. Now we are just left with 19," the minister said. Last month, the government had said that it was taking permanent measures to counter unfair trade practices as per international norms.

आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष 2016-17 के शुरुआती दस महीनों में उत्पादन मामूली रूप से 1.7 फीसदी बढ़कर 43.37 करोड़ टन रहा है। कंपनी 91 फीसदी के लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने में सफल रही है। 

कोल इंडिया ने मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष के जनवरी में उत्पादन लक्ष्य 6.104 करोड़ टन रखा था जबकि इसने 92 फीसदी लक्ष्य को हासिल किया है।

इस समीक्षाधीन अवधि में कंपनी का कुल व्यापार मामूली रूप से 1.3 फीसदी बढ़कर 44.31 करोड़ टन रहा। कंपनी ने 2015-16 के दौरान 53.87 करोड़ टन कोयला उत्पादित किया था। 

मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष में कोयला उत्पादन का लक्ष्य 59.8 करोड़ टन रखा है जो 2017-18 में 66 करोड़ टन होने की उम्मीद है।

Dairy firm Kwality Ltd on Thursday said it has commenced commercial production at its new unit at Softa plant, Haryana dedicated primarily for value added products. In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said, “Kwality begins commercial production at its new unit at Softa plant, Haryana which is being set-up primarily for manufacturing of value-added products such as flavoured milk, paneer, cheese, UHT milk, cream in tetra packs, table-butter, yoghurts, amongst others.”

The new unit, when fully operational, to have milk handling capacity of 0.9 Mn litres/day primarily for value-added products with total capital outlay of approx. Rs 400 crore, it added. With this unit, cumulative milk processing capacity of Kwality would reach 4.3 Mn litres/day across its 6 plants, it further said.

Commenting on the development, Kwality Ltd, President & Head Business Transformation, Nawal Sharma said, “This is a significant development, as we continue to shift towards B2C by shifting our product mix towards consumer-oriented products, primarily fresh and value-added products.” “We are moving in the right direction in sync with our business plans towards ne    w orbit of growth. This would enhance our profitability, strengthen our balance sheet and cash flows in the coming years,” he added. Meanwhile, shares of the company were trading at Rs 140.20 apiece, up 1.63 per cent, from previous close on BSE.

वि‍त्‍त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने 2017-18 के बजट में एग्रीकल्‍चर और अलाइड सेक्‍टर के लि‍ए कुल 58,663 करोड़ रुपए का आवंटन कि‍या गया है। पि‍छले साल इसमें 48,527.

करोड़ का आवंटन कि‍या गया था और खर्च 52,821 हुआ था। इस लि‍हाज से देखा जाए तो इस बजट में एग्रीकल्‍चर और अलाइड सेक्‍टर के बजट आवंटन में कुल 5,842 करोड़ रुपये का इजाफा कि‍या गया है। अगर इसमें रूरल डेवलपमेंट का आवंटन और जोड़ लि‍या जाए तो कुल 1,87,223 करोड़ हो जाता है, जो पि‍छले साल के मुकाबले 24 फीसदी ज्यादा है। भाषण के दौरान जेटली ने कहा कि‍ हमारा फोकस कि‍सानों का वि‍कास करना है और इससे कोई समझौता नहीं करेंगे।

जेटली ने कहा कि‍ पि‍छले साल हमने पांच साल में कि‍सानों की इनकम सि‍क्‍योरि‍टी को दोगुना करने पर फोकस कि‍या था। मैंने कई योजनाओं की घोषणा की थी। हमें यह लक्ष्‍य हासि‍ल करने के लि‍ए और कदम उठाने होंगे। हमें कि‍सानों को पैदावार बढ़ाने के काबि‍ल बनाना होगा। इसके अलावा फसल कट जाने के बाद सामने आने वाली चुनौति‍यों से भी नि‍पटना होगा।

1.   ड्रॉप मोर क्रॉप के मकसद को साकार करने के लि‍ए माइक्रो इरि‍गेशन फंड बनाने के लि‍ए नबार्ड को 5000 करोड़ 
2.  रोड़ का शुरुआती फंड दि‍या जाएगा। - मृदा हेल्‍थ कार्ड योजना ने रफ्तार पकड़ ली है। अब कृषि विज्ञान केंद्रों में मिनी लैब बनाई जाएंगी और कोशि‍श होगी कि‍ सभी 648 कृषि विज्ञान केंद्रों को इसके तहत लाया जाए।
3.  मृदा हेल्‍थ कार्ड योजना ने रफ्तार पकड़ ली है। अब कृषि विज्ञान केंद्रों में मिनी लैब बनाई जाएंगी और कोशि‍श होगी कि‍ सभी 648 कृषि विज्ञान केंद्रों को इसके तहत लाया जाए।
4.  फसल अच्‍छी हो इसके लि‍ए जरूरी है कि‍ कि‍सानों को वाजि‍ब कर्ज मि‍ल सके। वर्ष 2016-17 के लि‍ए किसानों को 10 लाख करोड़ का कर्ज देने का टारगेट रखा गया.

5. फसल बीमा में अब 30 की बजाय 40 फीसदी क्रॉप्ड एरि‍या कवर होगा। वहीं 2018-19 में इसके तहत 50 फीसदी एरि‍या कवर कि‍या जाएगा। फसल बीमा के लिए 9 हजार करोड़ का आवंटन होगा। 

6. नेशनल एग्रीकल्‍चर मार्केट की संख्‍या बढ़ाकर 585 की जाएगी। अभी इनकी गि‍नती 250 है। ई नाम के तहत हर एग्रीकल्‍चरल प्रोडक्‍ट मार्केट कमेटी, एपीएमसी को इंफ्रास्‍ट्रक्‍चर में सुधार के लि‍ए 75 लाख रुपये दि‍ए जाएंगे।
7.  डेयरी से कि‍सानों को अति‍रि‍क्‍त इनकम होती है। इनके इंफ्रास्‍ट्रक्‍चर में वि‍कास से कि‍सानों को फायदा होगा इसके लि‍ए एक डेयरी प्रोसेसि‍ग फंड बनाया जाएगा। इसके लि‍ए शुरुआत में 2000 करोड़ का फंड दि‍या जाएगा। तीन वर्षों में डेयरी प्रोसेसि‍ग फंड को बढाकर 8000 करोड़ रुपये कि‍या जाएगा।

Oil prices fell on Thursday after official data showed U.S. crude and gasoline stockpiles rose sharply, although signs that OPEC and other producers are holding the line on output cuts are helping support prices. 

Brent crude futures fell 24 cents, or 0.4 %, to $56.56 a barrel as of 0146 GMT after settling up $1.22 in the previous session. 

Front month futures for West Texas Intermediate were down 28 cents, or 0.5 percent, at $53.60 after climbing $1.07 at the day before. 

U.S. crude stocks grew last week by an unexpected 6.5 million barrels to 494.76 million barrels, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday, as refiners let stocks build further in a seasonally slow season for production.

Copper futures fell during evening trade in the domestic market on Wednesday as investors and speculators exited their positions in the industrial metal amid thin trade due to China’s week-long Lunar New Year holiday. The China’s Shanghai Futures Exchange is closed for the Lunar New Year holiday through to February 2 and will reopen on February 3.

Investors sentiment remained dampened amid concerns over a strike looming at the world's biggest copper mine. Workers at BHP Billiton's Escondida mine in Chile have voted to reject a company wage offer and go on strike. However, a workers' union said the company will likely request government mediation to attempt a resolution, which would delay any strike action for about another week. 

At the MCX, copper futures for February 2017 contract is trading at Rs 404 per kg, down by 0.52 per cent, after opening at Rs 406.10, against a previous close of Rs 406.10. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 403.30.

उन्होंने कहा कि 2016-17 में मनरेगा के तहत 38,500 करोड़ रुपए का बजट प्रावधान किया गया था, जिसे 2017-18 में बढ़ाकर 48,000 करोड़ रुपये करने का प्रस्ताव है। 

वित्त मंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री ग्राम सड़क योजना (पीएमजीएसवाई) निर्माण की गति 2016-17 में तेजी से बढ़कर 133 किलोमीटर सड़क प्रतिदिन हो गई, जबकि 2011-14 अवधि के दौरान इसका औसत 73 किलोमीटर प्रतिदिन था। इस योजना के लिए 2017-18 में 19,000 करोड़ रुपये का प्रस्ताव है। 

उन्होंने कहा कि बेघर लोगों और कच्चे घरों में रहने वालों के लिए 2019 तक एक करोड़ मकानों का निर्माण कराया जाएगा। सरकार ने प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-ग्रामीण के लिए बजट अनुमान 2016-17 के 15,000 करोड़ रुपये के आवंटन से बढ़ाकर 2017-18 के लिए 23,000 करोड़ रुपये प्रस्तावित किया है।

जेटली ने उम्मीद जताई कि देश के शत-प्रतिशत गांवों के विद्युतीकरण का लक्ष्य 01 मई, 2018 तक प्राप्त कर लिया जाएगा। दीनदयाल उपाध्याय ग्राम ज्योति योजना के तहत 2017-18 में 4,814 करोड़ रुपये के बढ़े हुए आवंटन का प्रस्ताव किया गया है। जेटली ने कहा कि सरकार ने 2017-18 में ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में कौशल विकास को बढ़ावा देने और आजीविका के अवसरों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए दीनदयाल अंत्योदय योजना, राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन के लिए आवंटनों को बढ़ाने का प्रस्ताव किया है। प्रधानमंत्री रोजगार सृजन कार्यक्रम (पीएमईजीपी) और क्रेडिट सहायता योजना के लिए आवंटन को बढ़ाकर तीन गुना से अधिक करने का प्रस्ताव है।
