Equity Trading Tips: Gold Futures End Higher On Monday

Gold futures ended higher on Monday, extending gains as geopolitical risks drove investors to safe-haven assets after the metal's third-straight weekly decline. Besides, a weaker US dollar against the major basket of currencies also fuelled the uptrend.

Gold futures for December delivery gained $12.40, or 1 percent to settle at $1,281.60 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was up 1 percent at $1,281.46 an ounce.
