Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Monday due to tepid demand from the tyre industry. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 129/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 129.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 127/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 127.50/ kg.

In the futures market, November delivery dropped to Rs 126.48 compared to its previous closing of Rs 127.46, while December delivery closed at Rs 126.41 compared to its previous close of Rs 127.44 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
