Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Friday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 134/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 131.00/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 131.50/ kg. In the futures market, September delivery declined to Rs 133.46 compared to its previous closing of Rs 134.03, while October delivery closed at Rs 133.14 compared to its previous close of Rs 133.71 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
