Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Friday amidst extremely low volumes in the market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 135.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 136/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety remained unchanged at Rs 133/ kg. In the futures market, September delivery declined to Rs 135.33 compared to its previous closing of Rs 138.28, while October delivery closed at Rs 135.77 compared to its previous close of Rs 138.06 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
