Gold Futures End Lower On Tuesday

Gold futures ended lower on Tuesday pressured by comments from US Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen, which reinforced expectations for another interest-rate increase before the end of the year. Gold futures for December delivery declined $9.80, or 0.8 percent, to settle at $1,301.70 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was down 1.13 percent at $1,295.28 an ounce.
