Comex copper futures ended higher on Thursday, while London copper prices too rose as speculators regarded prices as good value after recent losses and sentiments were lifted by hopes of steady economic growth in top metals consumer China. Copper futures for December delivery added five cents to settle at $2.98 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. While, copper on the London Metal Exchange ended up 1.3 percent at $6,522 a metric ton.
