Bears grip Nickel as China outlook weighs

Further, a sharp drop in Chinese exports, which fell by 10 per cent on the year in September 2016 signaled worsening outlook in the economy of the world’s biggest metal consuming nation.

At the MCX, nickel futures for October 2016 contract is trading at Rs 696.7 per kg, down by 1.4 per cent, after opening at Rs 702.20, against a previous close of Rs 706.60. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 692.5.
