the proposition of the smartphone. Unveiled last year by search engine giant Google, the operating system is a trimmed down version of Android Oreo, which is currently the latest operating system that powers Android devices. The Oreo Go edition operating system is optimised to run efficiently on devices with limited hardware resources. It is designed to work efficiently on devices with 1GB of RAM or less. The Android Oreo (Go edition) comes with a dedicated suite of apps from Google. These apps include Gmail Go, Maps Go, Files Go, Chrome, YouTube Go, Assistant Go, Play Store and GBoard. The apps provide similar utilities, but take less space on the phone and use less mobile data to operate.
