Gold Futures End Lower On Monday

Gold futures ended lower on Monday, with traders moving to the sidelines ahead of Wednesday's Federal Reserve rate hike. Though, some loses were capped as the as Asian stocks fell and the dollar slipped against a basket of major currencies. Gold futures for August delivery declined $2.50 or 0.2 percent, to settle at $1,268.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was up 0.1 percent at $1,266.90 an ounce.
