Spot rubber lost further on Friday. RSS-4 dropped to ₹131 (132) a kg on buyer resistance as reported by the traders. The grade weakened to ₹131 (131.50) and ₹128 (128.50) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and the dealers.

January futures slid to ₹133.85 (134.69), February to ₹135.85 (136.41), March to ₹137.80 (138.56) and April to ₹138.89 (139.44) on the NMCE. RSS-3 declined at its January futures to ¥205.4 (₹116.51) from ¥207.6 (117.91) on the TOCOM. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 131 (132); RSS-5: 127.50 (129); ISNR 20: 115.50 (116) and Latex (60% DRC): 90 (91).
