MCX SILVER MARKET NEWS

Silver on MCX settled up 0.18% at 38528 tracking Comex Silver which rose nearly 0.5 percent to settled at $16.01 per ounce, after slipping to $15.77 on Wednesday, its lowest since April 12 traded in the range with weak sentiments amid a relatively flat dollar, as the ECB and OPEC ended a pair of closely-watched meetings on Thursday without enacting any major policy changes.

 

 

Silver trading range for the day is 38303-38723.

 

 

Silver little changed as the dollar turned positive after the ECB said it made only marginal upward adjustments to its inflation projections.  

 

Now Investors will focus on tonight's US nonfarm payrolls data, a solid reading could heighten expectations for a U.S. interest rate move as early as the Federal Reserve's June 14-15 policy meeting. Technically market is getting support at 38415 and below same could see a test of 38303 level, And resistance is now likely to be seen at 38625, a move above could see prices testing 38723.
