MCX NICKEL MARKET NEWS

At the MCX, Nickel futures for June 2016 contract is trading at Rs 612.60 per kg, up by 0.71 per cent, after opening at Rs 606.10, against a previous close of Rs 608.30. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 617.60

 

Nickel futures rose during evening trade in the domestic market on Monday as investors and speculators booked fresh positions in the industrial metal amid a pickup in physical demand for Nickel in the domestic spot market.


Traders continue to keep an eye on the potential impact of Britain’s shocking decision to exit the European Union last week, on the world economy, shaping the demand outlook for industrial metals.

 

 China’s Premier Li Keqiang has warned that global economic uncertainties have increased in the wake of Britain’s shock vote to exit from the EU.
