NCDEX JEERA MARKET

Jeera on NCDEX settled up by 1.39% at 17150 due to good export demand on availability of higher quality jeera and reports of yield loss in Gujarat. Further, expectation of jeera output to be lower this year, compared to last year due to hot weather and lower acreage in Rajasthan too fuelled the uptrend. Market players are still expecting some more export enquiries on reports of good quality jeera production this year but the demand is still lower.  

                                   Jeera trading range for the day is 16725-17465. per second advance estimate of Gujarat State for 2015-16, production is pegged at 2.11 lt higher by about 7% forecasted in revised fourth advance estimate of 1.97 lt. In 2013-14, production was 3.46 lt. According to Dept of Commerce data, the export of jeera during first 11 month of 2015-16 (Apr-Feb) is 78,965 tonnes compared to 1.46 lt exported last year same period. The exports for 2015-16 shows a declining trend compared to last year. 

                               Spot Market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -38.75 rupees to end at 17180 rupee per 100 kg.Technically market is under fresh buying as market has witnessed gain in open interest by 3.1% to settled at 17580, now Jeera is getting support at 16940 and below same could see a test of 16725 level, And resistance is now likely to be seen at 17310, a move above could see prices testing 17465.Contact this no:- 9827808090
