HDFC Bank touches 52-week high as board says it will consider stock split

The company board is going to consider a proposal for subdivision of the bank’s equity shares on May 22.

Shares of HDFC Bank touched a 52-week high of Rs 2,363, rising 1.5 percent in the early trade on May 7 as the company is going to consider sub-division of its equity shares.


The company board is going to consider a proposal for subdivision of bank’s equity shares from 1 equity share of the face value of Rs 2 each to 2 equity shares of the face value of Re 1 each, at their meeting to be held on May 22, 2019.

The trading window for dealing in securities of the bank will be closed for designated persons from May 7, 2019, till May 24, 2019 (both days inclusive).

At 09:20 hrs HDFC Bank was quoting at Rs 2,344.50, up to Rs 16.10, or 0.69 percent on the BSE.
