HCL Infosystems reports or Asian markets trade mostly in green

HCL Infosystems has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2018. 


The company has reported a net loss of Rs 29.04 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 31.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 15.32% at Rs 907.76 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 1,072.04 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. 

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a net loss of Rs 29.71 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 62.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 6.52% at Rs 1,139.36 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 1,218.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Asian markets trade mostly in green in early deals on Wednesday


Most of the Asian equity benchmarks are trading in green in the early deals on Wednesday, following the positive cues overnight from Wall Street. Japan’s Nikkei edged up with the overnight gains on Wall Street and a weaker yen boosting sentiment. Among the other Asian markets, Indonesia is higher. The markets in South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong are remained closed for Lunar New Year holidays.

Nikkei 225 added 60.68 points or 0.29% to 20,905.13, and Jakarta Composite up by 61.85 points or 0.95% to 6,543.30.
