HCL Technologies shines on reporting 25% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit
HCL Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 1010.60, up by 22.50 points or 2.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 988.10 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1015.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1034.75 and Rs. 1008.70 respectively. So far 71491 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1124.50 on 25-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 880.00 on 05-Jun-2018.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1034.75 and Rs. 940.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 134012.18 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.50% and 3.50% respectively.
HCL Technologies has reported a rise of 2.29% in its net profit at Rs 2,014 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2018, as compared to Rs 1,969 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 13.74% at Rs 6,672 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 5,866 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 25.24% in its net profit at Rs 2,605 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2018, as compared to Rs 2,075 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 21.06% at Rs 15,833 crore for Q3FY19 as compared Rs 13,079 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
