Stock Trading Tips- Tea leaves plucking to be halt from 20 Dec 2018
Tea Board of India has directed Tea growers to stop plucking of Tea leaves from December 20 in order to improve quality of Tea. Quality of the Indian Tea will be maintained in the world by this decision.
India's Tea cultivation takes place in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Manipur and some southern states including Cochin. The order will be applicable everywhere.
The production also takes place in West Bengal, Bihar, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttrakhand, will also be closed from December 20. Until and unless new crop comes, the plucking of leaves will be stooped.
The cultivation will start from March-April. The prices of Tea are likely to increase also.
