World Crude Steel Production Is Expected To Increase in 2017

According to Australian Government Department of Industry, Innovation and Science data released from global crude steel production is expected to increase in 2017, up slightly by 0.1%, to 1.622 billion tons compared with the same period of 2016; global crude steel production will increase to 1% in 2018, reached 1.638 billion tons. 


As China's crude steel production slowdown in activity in the construction industry, China's crude steel output this year and next is expected to decline but crude steel production in India is expected to increase for the next two years. Meanwhile, the United States and EU crude steel output are likely to keep growing for 2017-2018.
