The sluggish trend continues in pulses
The sluggish trend in pulse seeds and pulses continued on Wednesday with availability outstripping demand. Tur (Maharashtra) quoted at ₹3,800 a quintal. while tur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled at ₹3,500-3,700. Moong (bold) quoted at ₹4,800-5,100 a quintal, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹4,500. Moong dal (medium) quoted at ₹5,800-5,900, moong dal (bold) at ₹6,100-6,300, while moong mongar quoted at ₹6,100-6,200. Similarly, urad and its dal ruled flat with urad (bold) quoted at ₹3,400-3,500, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹2,700. Urad dal (medium) was quoted at ₹4,400-4,500, urad dal (bold) at ₹4,600-4,700.
Turmeric sales up as price drops
The price of turmeric has decreased and the sale of turmeric increased on Wednesday. At the Erode Cooperative Marketing Society, finger turmeric sold at ₹7,269-8,199, while the root variety sold at ₹6,629-7,689.
