Physical Rubber prices showed improvement on Wednesday on short supplies following heavy rains all over the plantation areas. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to 126.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 126/kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 123.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 123/kg.

In the futures market, November delivery improved to Rs 126.99 compared to its previous closing of Rs 126.31, while December delivery closed at Rs 126.15 compared to its previous close of Rs 125.65 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
