Jeera trading range for the day is 18690-19230. Jeera prices ended with gains tracking firmness in spot demand despite of hopes of increase in acreage. Jeera sowing is likely to pick up in the coming days and weather in both the producing states-Gujarat and Rajasthan- is stated to be favourable.

NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks dropped by 54 tonnes to 6973 tonnes. In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged up by 127.5 Rupees to end at 19023.35 Rupees per 100 kg.
