Gold Futures End Lower On Thursday - Indian Stock Market Tips

Gold futures ended lower on Thursday as investors awaited further clues on the US Federal Reserve’s plan for interest rates from the key non farm-payrolls report due at the end of the week. The US Department of Labor reported that initial jobless claims fell 12,000 to a seasonally adjusted 60,000 for the week ended September 30, beating forecasts of a 7,000 decline.

Gold futures for December delivery declined $3.60, or 0.3 percent, to settle at $1,273.20 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was down 0.34 percent at $1,270.01 an ounce.
