Commodity Market Tips: Gold Futures End Lower On Thursday

Gold futures ended lower on Thursday as the dollar strengthened against a basket of major currencies after the European Central Bank said it would extend the lifespan of its bond-buying program. Gold futures for December delivery declined $9.40 or 0.7 percent to settle at $1,269.60 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold was down 0.7 percent at $1,267.61 an ounce.
