Physical Rubber prices showed weakness on Monday due to lack of fresh enquiries from major consuming industries. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to 130/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 132/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to Rs 126/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 128/ kg. In the futures market, August delivery slid to Rs 130.54 compared to its previous closing of Rs 130.96, while September delivery closed at Rs 128.42 compared to its previous close of Rs 129.85 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
