Physical Rubber prices showed improvement on Wednesday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety rose to 140/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 138.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety jumped to 137/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 136/ kg. In the futures market, August delivery contract improved to Rs 141.97 compared to its previous closing of Rs 137.19, while September delivery closed at Rs 141.54 compared to its previous close of Rs 136.78 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
