Comex copper futures ended higher on Tuesday, while London copper prices too rose after a rapid build-up of inventories that has weighed on the market since late June halted and workers voted to strike at a mine in Chile, raising supply concerns. Copper futures for September delivery rose 0.9 percent to settle at $2.672 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. While, copper on the London Metal Exchange ended up 0.9 percent at $5,875 a metric ton.
