Comex copper futures ended marginally higher on Thursday as a halt in recent inventory increases. Meanwhile, London copper prices too rose, underpinned by a strike threat in Chile and a weaker dollar. Copper futures for September delivery rose 0.1 percent to settle at $2.6615 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. While, copper on the London Metal Exchange ended up 0.2 percent at $5,851 a metric ton.
