Nickel Futures Little Changed On Global Cues

Nickel futures were little changed during evening trade in the domestic market on Monday as investors and speculators exited their positions in the industrial metal on slackned demand ahead of the long weekend break in China, the US and Britain. Further, industrial metal held a narrow range on Monday as Chinese markets are closed on Monday and Tuesday for the Dragon Boat festival.

At the MCX, nickel futures for May 2017 contract is trading at Rs 584.40 per kg, down by 0.07 per cent, after opening at Rs 582.20, against a previous close of Rs 584.80. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 578.50.
