Gold futures today fell 0.93 percent to Rs 29,776 per 10 grams as speculators reduced their bets amid a weak global trend.

Gold was trading near a three-week low on Thursday after minutes from a Federal Reserve policy meeting signalled the U.S. central bank could raise rates as soon as next month, boosting the dollar.

  

Spot gold was little changed at $1,257.80 per ounce at 0323 GMT, while U.S. gold futures dipped 1.2 percent to $1,259.10. Spot gold fell 1.7 percent in the previous session, hitting a three-week low of $1,254.65.
